Winter 2012 – Mt Baldy, California at 3069 m (10,068 ft)
We’ve climbed Mt Baldy in the summertime and this time want to make the peak in its toughest state…covered with snow and ice. Of course, we’ll take the brittanies and camp overnight on the mountain.
Summer 2013 – Palisades Glacier, California at 4084 m (13,400 ft.)
This is the largest glacier in the Sierra Nevada mountains and is located west of Big Pine, CA (north of Mt Whitney). The glacier moves at seven meters (23 feet) per year.
In the future– Kalalau Trail, Kaua’i, Hawai’i
We will finally get to hike the trail that has eluded us. This continues to be the one goal that escapes us, now three separate times and for three separate reasons.
